Counting of votes is under way for 288 Assembly constituencies in Maharashtra and 81 Assembly seats in Jharkhand. Vote counting began on 8 am on November 23, and the fates of hundreds of candidates hang in the balance.

BJP candidate Devendra Fadnavis is contesting the Maharashtra Assembly elections from the Nagpur South West seat.
At the time of publication, Devendra Fadnavis was leading by 27386 votes.
