The Mandi MP, commenting on the Maharashtra assembly election results, told news agency ANI," ... I had anticipated his (Uddhav Thackeray's) loss... Those who disrespect women are monsters and they met their fate, they lost... They demolished my house and even used foul words against me, so it was evident that they had lost their sense of right and wrong..."

Kangana was referring to the demolition of a part of her house in 2020 under the orders of the then-Uddhav Thackeray administration.

In response to the demolition, the actress had posted a video message on X saying, "Uddhav Thackeray, tujhe kya lagta hai? (what do you think?)… colluded along with the film mafia, demolished my home and took revenge on me? My home was demolished today, your arrogance will crumble tomorrow."

Kangana's house at Bungalow No 5, Chetak Row House located at Nargis Dutt Road at Pali Hill was partially demolished as the BMC termed them illegal and unauthorised.
