Mumbai: As BJP’s landslide victory became clear, Devendra Fadnavis’ mother Sarita Fadnavis said that she had no doubt about her son becoming the next Maharashtra chief minister.
“Its a day of jubilation…there are celebrations everywhere,” she said in Nagpur.
“Today is a very important day as a mother…Devendra is a boy from Nagpur…today he has become a big leader,” she said, saying that her son had worked 24x7 to ensure the Maha Yuti victory.
“Devendra has not slept properly, he has not eaten properly...only campaign and campaign,” she said.
When asked whether her son would be the chief minister, she said: “I am not in doubt, my son would be the chief minister...he has given efforts.”
She also said that he had blessings of crores of Ladki Bahin (sisters) in this journey.
Fadnavis’ father late Gangadharrao Fadnavis was an MLC, who had worked with late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani.
