“Give Maharashtra in my hands…give Maharashtra in our hands…see how we transform it,” said Raj, the founder-President of the 18-year-old MNS, which is committed to the cause of welfare of Marathi-manoos and Hindutva.

“This time…’na yuti, na aghadi’…be the change and give power in our hands,” said Raj amid thunderous applause at a MNS state officer bearers meeting at the NESCO Complex in Mumbai on Sunday.

Raj had given support to the NDA and shared dais with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Lok Sabha elections. However, after the polls he clarified that it was limited to Lok Sabha polls.

Sunday’s statement of “na yuti, na aghadi” gave a sense of clarity among the party workers.

During his address, Raj lashed out at the happenings of Maharashtra politics and how people have changed sides. “You contest elections with someone and then join hands with someone….when you see parties being broken,” said Raj, adding that he aspires to make a Maharashtra that would never bow down before Delhi.  “Don’t allow Maharashtra to be ruined,” he said.
