Tiff and Pete are back to pursue their dominatrix jobs after an incident that had left them high and dry. However, this time they need to start from the bottom.

Journey to the dungeons isn’t an easy knot to tighten. While Tiff understands this, Pete scrambles to respond to the whip. Here too, issues of ‘love’ and drama exist.

‘Bonding’ is not just about the BDSM, whiplashes, impact play, humiliation, orgasm, leather and kink. It talks about the fragility of one’s emotions and underlying desires, both dark and vanilla.

The series treads the varied contours of what goes on in the dungeons. Take it with a pinch of salt.

The show pins down on dark comedy while giving insights into psychology and human desire.

For example, one of Pete’s clients, who “gets off” when he looks at Pete’s penguin waddle while wearing a penguin costume.

Pete incorporates his experiences in the dungeon into his standup routines. Comedy being his coping mechanism speaks a lot about the character. Another example would be Tiff aka Mistress May who comes across as someone who wouldn't commit to a relationship, showing signs of jealously.

In all, ‘Bonding’ lays bare the darkest desires of people and serves it in palatable comedy.
