Prime Video has unveiled the exclusive global premiere of Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank, one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2024. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande, under the banners of Maddock Films and Jio Studios, this horror-comedy masterpiece blends humor and fright.
The star-studded cast includes Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Streaming begins today, October 10, in India and over 240 countries and territories.
Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank is set in the picturesque town of Chanderi, years after Stree's mysterious disappearance. The townspeople are now faced with a new terror—a headless ghost called "Sarkata" who begins abducting women, seeking revenge on those he believes are responsible for Stree’s fate. To stop this vengeful spirit and bring peace back to Chanderi, Vicky, Bittu, Rudra, and Jana unite, enlisting the help of an unnamed woman (played by Shraddha Kapoor). Together, they confront their fears and unravel Chanderi’s dark secrets to save their town from this haunting menace.
