The CBI has filed a supplementary charge sheet in the 1993 Bombay serial blasts case against key accused Ahmed Kamal Shaikh alias Ahmed Lambu.
The chargesheet has been filed before the designated TADA Court here in the case registered 25 years ago.
A series of 13 blasts in quick succession had rocked Mumbai on March 12, 1993 killing 257 persons, injuring over 710 and destroying properties worth over Rs 27 crore.
Shaikh, one of the accused named by the CBI has been absconding since the past 25 years and was arrested on June 1 last year and is presently in judicial custody.
