Union Minister and BJP leader Kiren Rijiju on Friday attacked the Congress party at a press conference and said that it was a "curse" for India to have Rahul Gandhi as the Leader of Opposition.
“A person like Rahul Gandhi becoming the leader of opposition is a curse for our country,” Rijiju said when asked about Gandhi's statement that BJP and RSS were destroying the Constitution and that he was opening "mohabbat ki dukan”.
He claimed that Rahul Gandhi had neither read the Constitution, nor had does he understand its spirit.
"A person who neither has read the Constitution nor understands its spirit, it’s an insult for such a person to even speak the word 'Constitution'", Rijiju said.
He also added that it was his misfortune that he has to deal with Rahul Gandhi as Parliamentary Affairs Minister.
