Jagan offered Rs 1,500 cr for CM post: NC chief

National Conference chief Farooq Abdulla has claimed that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had come to his house after the death of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and offered to pay Rs 1,500 cr to the Congress high command if was made the chief minister of then united Andhra Pradesh.

“From where do you think he would have got the money? Not from a hidden treasure, he got it by looting you people,” he said while campaigning for the Telugu Desam Party in Kadapa.

"If he comes to you now and says he will take care of your future, beware. Such a person will only try to take care of his own future, not yours.

He will destroy your future," Abdullah warned and asked people to vote the TDP to power. YSR Congress leaders were not immediately available for comment.
