Anganwadi and Asha workers will take out a state-level rally under the aegis of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha on November 10, urging the government to fulfil and implement their demands, Association State General Secretary Lokesh said on Wednesday.

He told reporters that the rally will begin from the taluk office premises and will end at Azad Park Circle. Later, a public meeting will be held.

He said their main demand is to recognise anganwadi workers as government employees and provide a monthly remuneration of Rs 18,000 to Asha workers. These demands will also be placed before the Central government during a protest meet, he said.
