APMC president Prakash warned the merchants and sellers of dumping vegetable wastes indiscriminately at the APMC yard.
He said the licenses of those who dump the waste indiscriminately will be suspended.
Speaking at a special meeting, he said the APMC yard is being cleaned daily. Unfortunately, many dump tomato and vegetable waste into the drains and on the road. All the waste should be dumped in a designated place identified for the purpose, said Prakash.
He said there are complaints of merchants collecting commission from farmers, which will be verified. Action will be initiated against such merchants, he warned.
