The Wadi police in the district have arrested third accused in India-1 ATM theft case reported in Chittapur taluk in June first week.
Shivakumar Kodaduru of Chintakunta in Yadgir taluk was arrested from Dubai, UAE, said Superintendent of Police N Shashikumar.
The police had nabbed Jagadevappa Boin and Jagannath Kodaduru, both from Chintakunta, in the case on Monday. Rs 10.20 lakh cash, motorbike mobile phones were recovered from the duo.
On June 2, the gang of three had looted Rs 14.96 lakh from the cash box of the ATM near Kumbarahalli Gate.
Jagadevappa, the prime suspect, used to work in a security agency before joining the company which had a contract to supply money to ATM kiosks. He got hold of passwords of a few ATMs. On June 2, he blocked the CCTV camera by holding an umbrella and looted the money, the police said.
