Bangalore University guest lecturers not paid for 11 months

Guest lecturers hit the streets on Thursday, demanding that Bangalore University pay their salaries, which are due for 11 months.

The lecturers accused the university of giving them a raw deal despite the fact that they have been taking online classes regularly since the pandemic began. The lecturers also demanded identity cards, salary slips and the implementation of a centralised system of salary payments.
