Kere Habba will be celebrated at Kaikondrahalli Lake on Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm, with a plethora of events, sessions and workshops organised by MAPSAS, along with other sponsors and stakeholders.
The day-long event includes bird watching that begins at 6 am, followed by a walk across the lake, sessions on the lake rejuvenation, introduction to the condition of eco-system of the lake, activities for children pertaining to science, sessions on the history of Bengaluru and what not! There will be musical and storytelling events as well.
There will also be food and shopping corners, including group discussions for citizens and play arena activities.
“Kere Habba is a celebration of the lake. Some of the most prominent names in the world of conservation and environment conduct sessions to raise funds to support and maintain the lake,” said CS Dechamma, one of the members of Mahadevapura Parisara Samrakshane Mattu Abhivrudhi Samiti (MAPSAS).
