Bengaluru: In view of the Mahaveer Jayanti celebrations, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has announced a ban on the sale of meat in the city on Sunday.
In a press release, the BBMP's Animal Husbandry Department said the sale of meat and animal slaughter stands prohibited.
A similar ban was announced on April 17 on the occasion of Ramanavami.
