Due to the start of metro work, Bannerghatta Main Road’s service lane (slip road) will be closed from Wednesday onwards for vehicles moving from Dairy Circle towards the Central Silk Board junction.
In a press release, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said it had planned to start work on the Gottigere-Nagawara (Reach 6) metro line at the Jayadeva
hospital junction on Wednesday.
The work will begin on the “right side service road leading from Dairy Circle (near Bandhan Bank) to the Central Sil Board junction and towards Banashankari, it said.
This will essentially cut off direct access to the Jayadeva hospital junction for vehicles moving from Dairy Circle bound to Silk Board (eastern side) and Banashankari (western side).
These vehicles have to turn right at Gurappanapalya onto 39th Cross. Vehicles bound for the Central Silk Board junction have to turn left on East-end Main Road while others moving towards Banashankari have to turn left at the 28th Main.
