Bengaluru: City Police Commissioner B Dayananda has restricted the sale of liquor in view of the Bengaluru Karaga procession on Tuesday. The restrictions will be in place from 4 pm on April 23 to 10 am on April 24.

Bars, wine stores, pubs and other places selling liquor — except those with CL-4 (clubs) and CL-6A (star hotel) licences — will be shut in the City Market, Kalasipalyam, Cottonpet and Upparpet police station limits, the top cop's order read.
