Bengaluru: Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda on Saturday said parents of underage children caught for drink-driving, wheelies or violating traffic rules will be booked.
“In such cases, the parents will be booked under the Juvenile Justice Act,” Dayananda said during the Masika Janasamparka Divasa, a monthly police-public gathering.
“It is a non-bailable offence and the parents will have to go to jail,” he added.
