Sanjana Rudra, a humanities student from Sophia’s High School, scored 99 per cent in her ISC board exams this year.

Talking to Metrolife, she says that she didn’t expect to score so much since the papers were difficult this year.

“I am very happy with my marks. Since I was the head girl, I didn’t get much time to focus on academics. I managed to prepare from the beginning of the year and that helped me a lot; having consistency throughout the year is helpful rather than cramming it in one month.”

Jayanth Rudra, Sanjana’s father, expresses his thoughts on his daughter’s achievement, “I am thrilled that she scored such a high percentage. Being the head girl at her school, she had other obligations and duties to the school. She excelled in everything; she is multi-talented.”

Sanjana is planning on pursuing law and has also applied in a few private law colleges.
