Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has restricted traffic movement from Vidya Nagar Cross towards Telecom Layout (Venkateshwara Institute of Technology) as white-topping work is underway. The route will be blocked from November 16 to December 6.
Vehicles moving towards Uttanahalli have been directed to take a right turn near the BMW showroom and proceed to Shakthi Nagar, Oxford School, Billamaranahalli, Telecom Layout, and reach Uttanahalli Main Road.
Motorists going towards Hunasamaranahalli Service Road from Uttanahalli should take the route via Hosahalli. Those going from Uttanahalli Main Road towards Kote Cross should move through Doddajala. Commuters have been redirected to move via Moongate and Maranayakanahalli to reach the Chikkajala underpass.
Buses and heavy goods vehicles must compulsorily take the route via Bagalur Cross-Reva Junction-Sathanur-Bagalur Main Road.
