The election officials seized cash and valuables, worth Rs 83.12 lakh, in the 24 hours before Monday evening over the violation of the model code of conduct. The cumulative value of seizures reached Rs 47.26 crore. As many as 92 new cases were booked within a day, taking the total number of FIRs to 692.
