Cycle marathon to spread awareness of breast cancer

In a bid to spread awareness about breast cancer, braving the rain, people of Mangaluru set out on a cycle marathon on Sunday morning. The campaign was held under the auspices of America Kannada Kootagala Agara (AKKA).

The marathon which was flagged off at Lalbagh Circle cruised through Bijai Church, Bunts Hostel, Jyoti Circle, Hampanakatta, Clock Tower, K S Rao Road and PVS, to end at Mahanagara Palike office. The participants made an attempt to spread awareness of breast cancer among the citizenry.
