Dasara festivities begins at Mysuru Palace

Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar ascended the golden throne at the auspicious Vrischika Lagna at 12.02 pm at the durbar hall of Mysuru palace.

This marks the beginning of Navaratri celebrations at the Palace. Earlier he performed the 'kalasha puja' and 'simhasana puja'.
