After capturing a rogue wild elephant in Nelyahudikeri, the Forest Department is making preparations to capture another such elephant.
The tamed elephants are placed in Attimangala near Nelyahudikeri to capture the rogue elephant in Maryland estate.
There were two herds with nine and four elephants each in Maryland estate. A 20-year-old female wild elephant was captured on Tuesday and was shifted to Dubare elephant camp.
The operation to capture the second wild elephant will be carried out on May 30.
