New Delhi: Former Rajya Sabha member L Hanumanthaiah on Thursday said there is injustices meted out to South Indian states in money distribution under the GST collection and this should be rectified immediately by the Central Government.
"Since the GST regime came into force, South Indian states have been getting low share from the Centre under the GST collection. The current system of the GST collection and distribution of funds among states needed urgent reforms. The Centre must take steps to bring reforms in the GST, he said.
He was addressing a gathering to protest against the NDA-ruled Central government alleging injustices meted out to Karnataka in distribution of GST share as well as using ED and CBI to destabilize the Congress-ruled government in the state.

He also alleged that the Central government misusing ED and CBI to destabilize Siddaramaiah headed government in Karnataka and this should be stopped immediately.
Member of Karnataka Legislative Council D Thimmaiah, writers S G Siddaramaiah, Kalegowda Nagawara and others participated in the event.
