Bengaluru: Agricultural Marketing and Sugarcane Development Minister Shivanand Patil on Saturday said the government plans to provide food at APMCs on the lines of Indira Canteens.
Addressing a news conference, Patil said: “We are planning to provide Indira Canteen kind of quality food at discounted price at all the APMCs for the benefit of farmers. Currently, we have started it on a pilot basis in Mysuru and Ballari.”
