Medical Education and Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar on Monday said he is not afraid of arrest in connection with Income Tax Department probe. 

Medical Education and Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar on Monday said he is not afraid of arrest in connection with Income Tax Department probe.

"I am not afraid of arrest in connection with a probe by Income Tax Department on my business activities. I have paid all taxes honestly and I have been doing business as per the law," he told reporters here.

"Since last one month, media have been saying that I will be arrested. But nothing has happened so far and will not happen in future also," he said.

"I and BJP state unit president B S Yeddyurappa are good friends and both were acquitted in Benniganahalli land denotification case earlier," he said.
