Operation to capture tiger continues in Kodagu

The operation to capture the tiger continued in Kodagu on Wednesday. A specially designed hide cage for the sharpshooter has also reached the district.

The forest department officials have been creating awareness by distributing pamphlets in Kumutoor, Kakoor, T Shettigeri and Tavalagere to urge the people to remain alert and cautious.

The directions in the pamphlets urge children and senior citizens not to venture out unnecessarily between 5 pm to 7 am.

A total of 24 cameras have been installed to study the movements of the tiger.
