Former MLA and State JD(S) senior vice-president N H Konaraddi stated that discussion is on to depute a minister each for Suvarna Vidhan Soudha in Belagavi for one week on rotation basis.
"Two months of time is required to shift nine offices from Bengaluru to North Kanrtaka region, as promised by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy. Karnataka Niravari Nigam Limited (KNNL), sugar development commissioner's office and Krishna Bhagya Jala Nigam Limited (KBJNL) all are very useful offices," he said.
Mahadayi verdict is being studied, before implementing this water diversion project, he added.
BJP blamed
Konaraddi charged that BJP leaders are now talking about 'injustice' to North Karnataka, as Lok Sabha elections are nearing.
"When Kumaraswamy was the chief minister, he gave a lot of gifts to North Karnataka region, like Suvarna Vidhan Soudha, session there, Karnataka State Law University, and High Court bench buildings. But, people know that BJP did nothing for the region when its was in power," he told media persons here on Saturday.
