Justice S Vishwajith Shetty adjourned the hearing until November 26 on the bail petitions filed by Kannada film star Darshan Thoogudeepa, his friend Pavithra Gowda and others accused in the murder case.

At the hearing, Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) P Prasanna Kumar informed the court that the police were awaiting certain Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reports, which would be filed as additional documents in the charge sheet.

He also submitted that Darshan, accused number 2 in the case, had been released on interim bail for six weeks on health grounds, subject to submitting certificates of medical officers, and length of treatment, among others. Although a report appears to have been submitted to the court in a sealed cover, the date of surgery remains unknown, he added.

Justice Shetty said that two reports by doctors were submitted to the court. One report was filed on behalf of the actor on an earlier date and another on Thursday. The court directed the court officer to give the copy of the reports to the SPP.
