Rs 2.98 crore unaccounted cash seized

The local police seized Rs 2.98 crore unaccounted cash being transported in a private bus during wee hours of Monday.

On a tip-off, the police searched the private bus belonging to Gajanana Travels around 4 am near Jas toll at Kythasandra and recovered the cash.

The notes were packed in a bag and there were no documents. The police are investigating.
