Four litres of spurious liquor and six pots of fermented jaggery wash was seized by police during a raid on a hut, near a stone quarry, in Kodlipet on Sunday night.
The illicit liquor was being prepared in the hut on the land belonging to Kallalli Mutt.
A woman, who was preparing the spurious liquor, fled the spot by disappearing in the woods during the raid.
The raid was led by CPI Nanjudegowda comprising other police staff.
A case has been registered at the Shanivarasanthe police station.
