Suspecting fidelity, man beheads wife

A man beheaded his wife, directly walked inside Srinivaspur police station in Kolar district and repeatedly kissed the head before surrendering to the police on Thursday.

The gruesome murder took place over an affair, said the police.

Azeez Saddam (26), the suspect and a resident of Gafar Khan Mohalla, killed Roshini Khanam (22), a resident of Neelasandra in Bengaluru. She was his second wife, he killed Roshini as he suspected her fidelity, said the police.

He invited her to a mango field at Murugamalla at Gollahalli, Chintamani taluk, for a discussion. He offered her to juice laced with sedatives. Later, he chopped her head with a sharp-edged weapon and threw the body in the field. He packed the head in a travel bag and left for Srinivaspur. He directly walked inside the police station, opened the bag, pulled out the head and started kissing it repeatedly, said the police.

He has confessed to the crime, added the police.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that Azeez is already married.

About three weeks ago on September 10, a man walked inside Ajjampura police police station in Chikkamagaluru district, carrying the chopped head of wife in a bag and confessed that he murdered his wife over an affair.
