The Mulki police took two juveniles into custody recently, for questioning, and in the process, solved long pending theft cases reported in Mulki police station.

According to the police, the two juveniles were taken to custody in connection with an old case near Kolnadu Industrial area. During the interrogation, they revealed that they had taken part in theft cases from 2016 till date. They had stolen a bike from and six mobile phones from Lingapayyanakadu, another two-wheeler from Karnadu, battery from waste disposal vehicle of Kemral gram panchayat, 1 bike from Kinnigoli and cash and cigarettes from a milk booth at Kilpady.

They were also involved in the theft of shops at Kolnadu, Kinnigoli, Haleyangady, Karnadu, Mukka and Surathkal for the last two years.

The police have seized stolen property worth Rs 1 lakh from the arrested.
