Newly appointed JD(S) state president A H Vishwanath on Monday said he would try to bring members of erstwhile Janata Parivar back to the party fold in the coming days.
Speaking to reporters here, he said he would approach each one of these leaders and urge them to return to the party fold with an aim to strengthening the JD(S). On the BJP’s remark that there are many power centres and more than one chief minister in Karnataka, the JD(S) leader said: “People are free to talk anything in a democratic set-up. Being a national party, the BJP should have some control over itself.”
