Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) registrar Jagannath Reddy has been suspended from service, pending an inquiry over allegations of financial irregularities.
VTU vice-chancellor Prof Karisiddappa suspended the registrar on Friday, highly placed sources in the varsity said. Reddy, however, said he had no role in the irregularities.
