Yaduveer to be ambassador for Mysuru tourism

The department of Tourism has decided to appoint Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, scion of the erstwhile royal family of Mysuru, as the tourism ambassador for Mysuru region.

Tourism Minister Sa Ra Mahesh met Yaduveer and discussed the plan on Wednesday. The minister said he had received a positive response from Yaduveer.

“We have decided to appoint Yaduveer as the ambassador to attract more tourists to the region. Yaduveer is popular in the region and he will be made the ambassador for tourism in Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and Kodagu districts,” the minister said.

The department has decided to appoint ambassadors across the state to promote tourism, Mahesh said.
