A youth succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident, near Mysuru.
The deceased is Chambanda Gagan Subbaiah (22), a resident of Gudluru village in Maldare. He was the son of coffee grower Chambanda Uttaiah. He was working in a private company in Mysuru.
The accident occurred when the two-wheeler he was riding rammed across a KSRTC bus at Emmekoppalu near Bilikere when he was on the way to Mysuru.
The last rites of the deceased were conducted in his native place on Monday. He is survived by his father, mother and brother.
