As many as six people died after being struck by lightning in Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh district.
According to DM Vishal Bhardwaj six people died and a child received injuries who was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
“In district Azamgarh, 6 people have died due to lightning and a child is injured who is undergoing treatment. Assistance will be given to the relatives of the deceased within 24 hours. People are being made aware regarding protection from lightning in the district,” said Azamgarh DM Vishal Bhardwaj, Uttar Pradesh.
