Actor Nana Patekar on Monday denied all sexual harassment allegations made by Tanushree Dutta against him.
On Sunday, it was announced that the 67-year-old actor will address a press conference on Monday at 3 pm at Celebrations Sports Club in Lokhandwala Complex, however, around 1 pm, it was cancelled.
Later, Nana appeared before the media outside his residence and dismissed allegations in one sentence.
"Whatever I had to say, I had said 10 years ago... kal jo sach hai, who aaj sach hai, aaj jo sach hai, who kal sach rahega (what was true yesterday is a truth today, and what is truth today will be truth tomorrow)," he said. The actor refused to take any question in his media brief.
Patekar said that he had been advised by his lawyers and the legal team not to speak to the media.
In a recent TV interview, Dutta claimed that Patekar misbehaved with her when the two were shooting an item song for "Horn Ok Pleassss" 10 years ago. Thereafter, she was replaced by Rakhi Sawant.
On Saturday, she lodged a complaint with the Oshiwara police station through a two-page letter. However, a formal FIR is yet to be registered. In her complaint, Tanushree has also named choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Samee Siddiqui, director Rakesh Sarang.
