Minister of State for Ministry of External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi and former Supreme Court Chief Justice and Rajyasabha MP Ranjan Gogoi attended a seminar named ‘Seven Decades of Constitution of India’ in Delhi on March 28.
While addressing the seminar, Meenakshi Lekhi said that Secularism, as enshrined in Indian Constitution, is a lesson for many countries.
“Secularism, as enshrined in Indian Constitution, is a lesson for many countries where Hinduism is not even recognized as a religion. Over 66 countries don't recognize Hinduism as a religion. I as a Hindu have a problem with it,” said Meenakshi Lekhi.
