As outgoing President Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to vacate the office soon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a farewell dinner for the outgoing President on July 22 in Delhi. Several Padma awardees and many tribal leaders also attended the dinner. The Presidential poll to elect the 15th President of India was held on July 18.
