Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for multiple projects in Somnath, Gujarat on August 20 via video conferencing. The projects which were inaugurated included the Somnath Promenade, Somnath Exhibition Gallery, and the reconstructed temple precinct of Old (Juna) Somnath. PM Modi also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of Shri Parvati Mata Temple during the event. The temple is proposed to be constructed with a total outlay of Rs 30 crore. This will include temple construction in Sompura Salats Style, development of Garbha Griha and Nritya Mandap.
