Scores of people gathered outside Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on May 15 to procure Remdesivir. State government shifted sale of drug used in Covid treatment from Kilpauk to Nehru stadium to manage the crowd. Tamil Nadu has over 1.95 lakh active cases of Covid. Union Health Ministry said that active cases have risen in the state.
