Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on February 18 thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reintroducing cheetahs again in India. Speaking to media persons, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “There will be an increase in clans of Cheetah. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi his vision of reintroducing cheetahs in Kuno National Park.
Today 12 cheetahs will come and the number of cheetahs will increase to 20.”The 12 cheetahs, including seven males and five females, are set to arrive in India in Kuno National Park.The Indian Air Force's C-17 Globemaster Cargo plane is bringing the 12 cheetahs from South Africa. The Cheetahs will be translocated to Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh.
