Disproportionate assets case against former AIADMK MLA Sathyanarayanan Bakthavatchalam in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu's Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) registered a case against former AIADMK MLA Sathyanarayanan Bakthavatchalam on Wednesday for alleged possession of disproportionate assets.

Searches in 18 premises across Tamil Nadu are underway, including 16 in Chennai, and 1 in Tiruvallur and Coimbatore districts each.
