After gaining success with affordable Mi smart TVs, Xiaomi on Wednesday (March 17) unveiled the company's first-ever Redmi smart TV in India.
The new Redmi Smart TV X series comes in three screen sizes-- 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. All come with a 4K display with 3840 x 2160p resolution, support Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, and Reality Flow (high refresh rate).
Inside, the Redmi Smart TV X series is powered by Vivid Picture Engine with 64-bit class A55 quad-core CPU, Mali G52 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB storage.
It runs Android TV 10-based PatchWall UI and it offers easy universal search, Kids mode, smart recommendations, user centre, supports 25+ OTT platforms across 16+ languages, Live TV, Celebrity Watchlist, India’s top 10, Google Assistant, and Mi Home app.
It has Chromecast built-in and boasts ALLM - Auto Low Latency Mode, which ensures minimal lag, as low as 5ms at 4K 60fps during gameplay via consoles.
As far as the audio is concerned, it features a 30W speaker, DTS Virtual: X, DTS-HD, Dolby Audio, and Dolby Atmos Pass through via e-ARC.
Connectivity features include HDMI 2.1 x 3, eARC port x 1, USB x 2, Ethernet port x 1, Optical x 1, AV input, 3.5mm audio jack x 1, supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Dual Band Wi-Fi.
The new Redmi Smart TV X50, X55, and X65 cost- Rs 32,999, Rs 38,999, and Rs 57,999, respectively and will be available on Mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores from March 26 onwards.
