Even as temperatures plummet, cricket fever is all set to turn up the heat in the nation! With the much anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy between fierce rivals India and Australia kickstarting on November 22, and the IPL 2025 mega auction scheduled to be held on November 24-25, a rather stellar weekend awaits for all cricket fanatics of the country.
The city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia will be hosting the two-day extravaganza, which will set the tone for next year's edition of the IPL. 366 Indians and 208 foreigners make up the 574-strong player pool available for the auctions. A total of 204 player slots, including 70 for overseas ones are available to be filled across all 10 franchises, who will lock horns in a bid to assemble the best possible squad for their respective teams.
A number of big names will be in fray, with as many as 81 players choosing to register themselves under the highest base price bracket of Rs 2 crore. Having said that, we list 30 players, along with their base prices, who will be on the radar of all the 10 teams:
