Indian batting legend VVS Laxman appears to have identified Virat Kohli's 'nemesis' - England leg-spinner Adil Rashid.
Although it is known that Kohli struggles with leg spin, Laxman was amused that Kohli was yet to figure out how to deal with Adil Rashid's bowling.
Rashid has dismissed Kohli nine times so far in international cricket, thrice in the India-England series itself.
"He's still not able to read Adil Rashid's variations from the hand, he's reading more off the wicket, and when you do that, it's always important play the ball late and with a vertical bat than trying to play square of the wicket," Laxman said on Star Sports' pre-match show ahead of the 3rd ODI on Sunday.
"It's a staggering stat against Adil Rashid for someone of the calibre of Virat Kohli. We know how much value he gives to preparations and the challenges he is about to confront, but Adil Rashid has been a real nemesis as far as Virat is concerned," he opined.
Kohli was most recently dismissed by Rashid during the 2nd ODI when the India skipper picked up 66 runs.
