Archana Kamath, representing Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB), won three gold medals in the All India inter-institutional table tennis tournament that ended in Coimbatore on Tuesday.
Archana emerged topper in women's doubles, mixed doubles and youth girls team event while she claimed the silver in the women's singles.
Archana partnered Mouma Das to win the women's doubles title, posting a 3-2 win over Ayhika Mukherjee and Priyadarshini Das of RBI.
In the mixed doubles, Archana and Manav Thakkar edged Reeth Rishya and Sanil Shetty (PSPB) 3-2 to emerge champions.
In the women's singles final, Archana went down fighting to Divya Deshpande of PSPB 8-11, 6-11, 11-7, 11-3, 11-13, 11-5, 5-11.
She had beaten Prapti Sen (PSPB) 11-7, 11-6, 11-7, 11-9 in the semifinals to enter her second consecutive women's singles finals in a national tournament.
In the team championships during the first part of the tournament, PSPB Youth girls team comprising Archana, Prapti, Yashini Shivasanakara and Srushti Haleangadi won the gold after registering 3-0 wins over Railways, Air India and Airports Authority of India.
